Welcome to ClipFlip! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our video conversion service. By accessing or using ClipFlip, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

By creating an account or using ClipFlip's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Service Description

ClipFlip provides an automated video conversion service that transforms horizontal Twitch VODs into vertical format videos optimized for mobile platforms. Our service includes:

Automated webcam detection and positioning
AI-powered subtitle generation
Video format conversion and optimization
Cloud-based video processing

3. User Accounts

To use ClipFlip, you must:

Be at least 13 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Content Rights and Ownership

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to videos you upload. By using ClipFlip, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and deliver your videos as necessary to provide our services.

Twitch Content: You represent that you have the necessary rights to process any Twitch VODs through our service. You are responsible for complying with Twitch's Terms of Service and any applicable copyright laws.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Upload or process content you don't have rights to
Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Upload content containing malware, viruses, or harmful code
Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit our service
Use automated tools to abuse our service (beyond normal API usage)
Upload content that violates others' intellectual property rights

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to:

Modify or discontinue features with notice
Perform scheduled maintenance
Suspend service for technical issues or security concerns

7. Pricing and Payments

Free Tier: Our free tier includes basic features with usage limitations.

Paid Plans: Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

8. Data Retention

Uploaded videos are automatically deleted after 24 hours. Processed videos remain available for download for 24 hours. We do not keep copies of your videos beyond this period unless you specifically request otherwise.

9. Intellectual Property

ClipFlip, our logo, and all associated branding are our intellectual property. Our AI models, algorithms, and software are protected by copyright and trade secret laws.

10. Disclaimers

ClipFlip is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

100% accuracy in webcam detection or subtitle generation
Specific processing times
Compatibility with all video formats
That the service will meet your specific requirements

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClipFlip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangibles.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ClipFlip harmless from any claims arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
